Anil's knowledge
of PBM pricing and financial structure was critical
in ensuring that we received the money owed us by Medco
and that we negotiated the best deal possible with AdvancePCS.
The negotiations for a new PBM took many unexpected
changes in direction and he maintained control throughout
the process and effectively communicated at all times.
- Anil, your handling of both of
the renegotiations with the PBMs was excellent - you exceeded
my expectations in negotiating a terrific package for
the company. You did a quality job, worked hard and put
our Company in a much better position.
- Anil has proven to be a strong,
disciplined leader on the PBM project, ID card project
and PPO Network Review.
- Anil, through persistence and
carefully kept notes of verbal and written communications
relating to Ingredient Cost Guarantees, convinced Medco
to consider those agreements as part of the legal contract
for all three years of the contract. This generated just
over $300k for the first year alone ($1.5 million audit
savings over three years). He did a superb job!!!
- Superior analytical skills, attention
to detail and cost reduction strategies have defined Anil's
performance.

Anil's effective
use of data and analysis has generated savings with
Medco. Anil has also applied the same approach to Provider
Networks resulting in fewer networks with more providers
and better pricing. Anil will do an excellent job protecting
our interests in the upcoming Rx contract negotiations.

Anil is a competent
technical actuary, especially in the prescription drug
and dental areas. He recently reviewed the drug contract
with Advance Paradigm and made recommendations that
saved the company over $2 million per year in charges.
- Anil's methodology is to provide
data/information to both internal and external users trusting
that the numbers identify the right decision. He is open
to others' points of view and has no personal bias in
interactions. Constantly focused on costs and efficiencies.

of the ID card project and through his detailed analysis
offered a recommendation which saved money and provided
value to our customers.
- Anil is very accurate and thorough
in his analysis and execution of any project. He is very
efficient and is always looking for better ways to accomplish
tasks or analyze data.
